Am looking for GGGG grandparents, GGG grandparents were Daniel (b.1818)and Eliza Goldsmith (1822) but cant get back any further although I have found loads of Goldsmiths in the 17th & 16th centuries, but no links. As far as I know, they originated in Hitchin. Also looking for parents of John (1833) and Caroline (1832) Carter, John was born in Hexton, but resided in Pirton by the time of the 1851 census, but had moved back to Hexton by 1881, and I assume he died there. Thomas Moore c1814-1816 - Redbourn
My 3 x great grandfather Thomas William Moore(known as William) was baptised in Redbourn in 1816. His father was Thomas Moore a stable man and mother was Amy (possibly Amy PARROTT). This couple had 2 other children, Alfred baptised 1820 and Amy baptised 1824. Thomas William was also a stable man (ostler) who moved to London when the coming of the railways all but destroyed the coaching industry through Redbourn. He married in St Saviour, Southwark in 1848. I'm interested in any descendants of Thomas and Amy, and anyone with Parrott ancestry in Redbourn or Caddington, Bedfordshire, where Amy Parrott married a Thomas Moore in 1811.

Alfred Ellingham was born 1855 in Rickmansworth. In 1861 he may have lived with his aunt Lucy Coster and her family at Church Street. We think he married Rachel(born Epping 1847) and they lived in Castle Street, West Ham. By 1879 Rachel most probably had died as he was married to Eliza, nee Stock, and their daughter Jane had been born.Their family had grown to four children by 1891. There was Jane age 12 Alfred age 10, Maud aged 8 and Charles aged 3 and the family were in Manby Road, Wanstead. In 1894 Alfred was born but he would not know his dad for long as Alfred died some time between 1894 and 1901. Eliza and her Children stayed in the West Ham Area and were joined by her mother Sarah Stock. Eliza took in washing so was a laundress as her mother had been.
