William Bigglestone - Eardisley
I am trying to find birth details of my great grandfather, William Bigglestone. He was born in Eardisley but the year is unclear - on his marraige certificate in 1881 his age was stated to be 36 but in the 1881 census when he was living in Chappel Allerton, York, his birth date was given as <1852>. I haven't been able to find him online and cannot find him in either the 1851 or 1861 censuses. His marraige certificate gives his father's name as John. This has been a brick wall for a few years now and so I would be grateful for any help. Thank you
