Masters/Townsend/Bridgwater
- Siddington
John Masters and Mary Ann (nee Townsend)spent some decades in Siddington, mainly living at the Quarries, bringing up a fairly large family of both boys and girls. Their daughter Emma was my ggmother, having married william Henry Bridgwater on 26th December 1901 - the only day Emma could get off from her employment in service. their daughter, marjorie, my grandmother, went back to live in Siddington to keep Mary Ann company after John died; Emma had promised him this on his death bed. My grandmother wrote a handwritten book of her childhood expedition from Hereford to Siddington, which I have started to scan. They lived to a fairly good age, so I remember both ggprents well. Any news of any of the related families would be great. I don't have much on the Townsends.
