REED family 1821-1900 Ruardear Hill Gloucester - Ruardean Hill
ELIZA REED (50) wife of ELIJAH appears on the 1871 as a widow.they had a large family ranging from Selina (21) to Mary Ann (5) at this time. this includes my Gt.Grandfather (JOHN)(20) In 1879 JOHN married ELIZA FOX (I have the certificate) and they also had a large family from the 1891 census from Annie Louisa (9) to Milson T (1) which includes my grandmother EMILY ADA (8). Nobody from these two families can be found on the GRO indexes and Gloucester record offic can find no trace of either JOHN or EMILY ADA. It would appear from the 1891 census that JOHN had added HENRY to his name. Both families would appear to be colliers. If anybody is researching this family I would dearly love to hear from them as I seem to have come to a dead end. Please make contact through Curious Fox Thank you, Steve J.
