Cam of Rangeworthy, Iron Acton, Yate
- Rangeworthy
Robert Cam, baptised 6.3.1779 at Rangeworthy, son of John and Rachel, married Elizabeth Wall (probably originally of Rangeworthy) at Yate on 15.4.1805. Could this John be the son of Thomas and Hannah baptised at Iron Acton on 2.3.1745? Could this Thomas be the son of Thomas and Eleanor baptised at Yate on 23.1.1708? Thomas Cam had married Eleanor Clark at Yate on 18.12.1707.

Wall of Rangeworthy
- Rangeworthy
Elizabeth Wall, daughter of William and Elizabeth, baptised at Rangeworthy on 15.6.1783 may have been the Elizabeth subject to the bigamous marriage at Iron Acton on 14.6.1798. There seems no way of verifying that this is so, but there is strong reason for assuming this was a forced marriage, organised by a Yate farmer. William was the son of Nehemiah and Elizabeth (or Betty) and had married Elizabeth Attwell (his second marriage) at Iron Acton on 11.1.1778 Nehemiah, baptised at Rangeworthy on 10.3.1705, son of Thomas and Sarah had married Elizabeth Bryant. Thomas married Sarah Newman on 29.11.1691.
