Seeking information on the JACOB Family that lived in and around Painswick, Gloucestershire, from 1700 through mid 1800. Lawrence (or Laurence) Jacob born abt 1712 and John Jacob born abt 1714 both had children christened and married at St. Mary's church in Painswick. Among the surnames associated with these two Jacob lines are: Jones, Webb, Wager, Hardy, Wood, Cooke, and Tizard. Family members were also born in the Gloucestershire cities of Stroud, Cheltenham, and Winchcombe. In Lancashire the Jacob family lived in Liverpool and West Derby. In Surrey, family members lived in Lambeth.
