They were living at West End, Minchinhampton in 1841. I should particularly like information about the children's mother. Am trying to find the marriage details of my great grandparents Walter Edward COOMBES b @ 1893 and Alice Ann RAINBOW b @ 1892. Their eldest child was born @ 1914 and I'm presuming they were married before then. Need to find the marriage certificate in order to get dates of birth and fathers names to confirm the people I've found are the right ones, so I can go further back with my tree. Walter was a WW1 Staff Sergent, so maybe theirs was a military marriage, which is why I can't find it. They were both born in Chipping Norton (?) their children were born in Merton on the Marsh, Bourton on the Water and Nether Westcote where they ran the New Inn Pub for many years.
