Thomas and Edith’s Children. Thomas Ann Winifritt married Joseph Ghostley on 28th February 1775 at Berkeley. He lived at Thornbury and she lived in Berkeley. Their witnesses were James Ghostley (his brother) and Jno Joyner.

Can anyone offer any info on Daniel Murphy with children Catherine and Jeremiah living in ALkington Berkeley in 1841 census. Listed as hawker. Was he widowed there? or did he arrive as ag lab or similar looking for a better life than Ireland could offer him. If so, would he have entered UK in Bristol or Swansea (hails from Bandon in Cork) Trying to trace his 2 children in subsequent censuses, Jeremiah and CAtherine. Have found Catherine in 1851 census in Thornbury but otherwise no luck and Jeremiah possibly in ALkington but not verified yet.
