Looking for connections to Thomas Liles (variously shown as LILES and LISLES in the census records)
Thomas was born in Acton Turville in 1816 and married a Sarah ( name unknown) in Chipping Sodbury around 1839. They lived in Acton Turville around the 1841 census, but are not shown after that.
Anyone able to help link Thomas to other Liles, Lisles families of the same period?
Thomas and Sarah had a child - another Thomas b. 1843, who is next reocrded as marrying in India and subsequently living in Olham, Lancashire.

My Grandfather Cecil Eugene BEMAN was born in High Street Chipping Campden c1881 and other Beman names were mentioned before then, I think 1879 but I will confirm this. Cecil's father was George Beman and his grandfather was Robert (from big farming Beman's around Adlestrop, Broadwell & Sherborne (But originating from James, from Kingham!). Any knowledge or connections with Beman's around the Cotswold villages from 1720's (or earlier) would be welcome! Ken

Richard Stiles

Richard Stiles was born in Chipping Campden in 1768 and died at Parramatta Australia in 1845. Richard was sentanced to transportation for life. He arrived in Australia on the "Perseus" in 1803. He had a daughter in Australia from whom my husband is descended. However in his will he states that is she predecesses him the money is to go to his four children he left behind when he was transported. Namely Elizabeth Stiles, Sarah Stiles, George Stiles and Mary Stiles. I would love to hear from descendants of this family left to fend for themselves in England whan he was transported

John Hugh Wyatt was born 1917 married Enid Kilburn and had a daughter Stephanie M K Wyatt, he dleft my Nanna sometime after my mother Stephanie was born and possibly remarried we recall he may have had twins by his partner. Would love to know more about his family and about him, any information would be gratefully received. Looking for photos anything additional to what I have and would like to go further up the Wyatt tree please can anyone assist?
Have also have Izod and Keyte in my tree. Charles Izod married Charlotte Wyatt and Mary Keyte married William Wyatt both Charlotte and William are children of William Wyatt 1787 and Mary unknown... Charlotte and William are my Great Great Great Grandfather's brother and Sister.

Ellis family of Westington/ Mickleton.

Robert Ellis,born 1829 (son of Samuel, Grandson of John,) moved from Chipping Campden between 1851 and 1858 and went to West Bromwich, Staffordshire.Robert himself lived at the 5th house, North End, (Leysbourne)but his ancestors lived at Westington, 184 Back End and Mickleton, amongst other locations.
Other surnames connected with the Ellis family are:- Bates, Chapman, Joyner, Walker, Rose and Wells.
I would welcome any information reagrding the above.

I'm from Australia and trying to find information on my Great Grandfather's family. His name was Harold Victor Hobbs b 1888 in Chipping Sodbury.
His Father's name was James Nicholas Alway Hobbs b 1849 and his mother's name was Sarah Ann Pullen (we think) b 1852.
I was told that James owned a butcher shop called Hobbs and Son in Chipping Sodbury.

I am looking for any information relating to Alice Trotman, formerly Pontin, nee Alden.
Alice was born abt 1698 in Chipping Sodbury, she was the daughter of William Alden. Alice first married Robert Pontin(g), date unknown and had one known child - Mary Pontin(g)date of birth unknown. Alice later married Nicholas Trotman in St Philips and Jacobs, Bristol, on 24th Sept 1738. Alice Trotman was buried in Chipping Sodbury on 3rd Jan 1752.
Any help re Alice or her family would be greatly appreciated.

Thomas BRISCOE (one of my Briscoe family, from Bolton in Lancashire) married Harriet Elizabeth Meyrick ELLIS from Churcham. They ended up in Chelsea but both are buried in Churcham. One surviving son was still in London in 1901.

DAVIS WILLIAM CHARLES 1856

William Charles DAVIS was the son of George and Mary (nee CORSON), DAVIS, he was born at New Brompton, Gillingham, Kent. March qtr. 1856 He was still living at home in the 1871 Census but after that he seems to have disappeared. He may have come to New Zealand but am not able to find him there to this date. His father, George DAVIS was a bricklayer, born ca.1800 at Hartpury, Gloucestershire. In 1879, George, hs wife Mary and their two daughters, Clara and Fanny, sailed to New Zealand on the "Westland" They settled in Christchurch.
Clara and Fanny married brothers, Alfred and Edward MARSHALL who were my gr gr Uncles. William is the missing peice of this jigsaw and I wold very much like to find him. Any information on this family wold be gratefully recieved.

I am looking for a William and Mary CORSON or sometimes spelt CAUSTON. Both were born in Churcham about 1800, according to the 1861 Census and were still living there at time. They had a daughter Mary who was born in 1830. Mary married on the 6th Feb. 1849 at Churcham to a George DAVIS of Hartpury. George and Mary came to New Zealand in 1879 and I am hoping to find something of Mary's family.

Ive been research my fathers family tree. His father was Alvin Hall born in Cinderford and bought but in Ruspidge Road he was born about 1908. Alvins father was William Hall also of Cinderford. The other surnames in our family tree are Cook, Jenkins, Meredith,Price, Morgan. I am back to about 1700 but would love to contact anyone who is still living in the Forest and is part of our family as we know very little about Alivin or his family other than the family had someone looking after them after thier parents died...my father remembers her as a little boy, so she would have been alive in 1950 , her name was Hannah, but no mention of a Hannah on any cenesu so who was she? She was very old in 1950...so dad says! Also dad remembers vivsitng the family home is the 5o's and coousins or uncles called Dennis and Victor? Also an Uncle Nook?
