Trying to find anything on eric edwards. He was my grandads brother, him being Joseph Edwards, there were two other brothers Harold and Albert. Eric lived on his own and never married, he died app 15 years ago. Information wanted for the Hemson family who finally lived in Cheltenham. Henry Hemson of unknown origin married Thirza Mary Sainsbury of Acton Turville around 1860ish, no offical records of him exist until his death certificate in 1893.Family legend declares he came from Norfolk but as yet there is nothing to verify this

He was 21 years of age and was probably born in 1819-20. He arrived in Tasmania on the ship Lady Raffles which departed Southhampton December 1840 and arrived VDL March 1841.

Wakefield. - Cheltenham
Looking for information on a man, surname of Wakefield. This is real needle in a haystack story. All I know about him is he was a custodian at Cheltenham council possibly in the late 1920's plus. He was married but he and his wife had no children. They had a niece who they regarded as a daughter and sent her to Cheltenham ladies college.
