Radford Family from Buckland - Buckland
I am trying to find further information and possible descendents of the following family: John Radford c1784 married Lucinda Boyce c1776 in Buckland on 2nd February 1798. The age of John would have only been 14, so I am not convinced of his actual year of birth, but the Census returns seem to be consistent, even if they're wrong !! The following children were born to this couple all in Buckland: Jane c1798 Elizabeth c1800 Sarah c1803 Rachel c1805 Mary c1806 married William Jones John c1807 Fanny 1810 married Thomas Taylor Mary and Fanny are both my 4x gt grandmothers. I also have found some evidence to suggest that John Radford c1784 also lived with a Mary ??? c1788 ?Adlestrop?, Gloucestershire. Although, he was still officially married to Lucinda, but this I have found was a very common practice !! John and Mary had the following children: John c1823 Buckland, Gloucestershire George c1829 Sandford, Oxfordshire Any info gratefully received and if I can be of help to anybody else who recognises any of these names, I will be very glad to share the information I have.
