At 16 months old she was adopted by local photographer / painter William Crinks and wife Mary of 35 Barton Hill Road, Bristol (then, 1891 census address - 93 Queen Ann Street, St Philip and Jacob Out, Bristol). In the 1890's Louisa worked as a 'Cloth Factory Girl'. Has anyone any info on Crinks, Evans, Fussell, local Cloth Factories (in 1890s) or adoptions in 1883? Thanks

I am researching the SAMPSON family...in particular Anthony Field Sampson, born c1833 in Bedminster, Bristol. His father James originated from DUNDRY, and mother Louisa from Blagden. His siblings were James, and Lucy. In 1854 Anthony married Jane Sanders (formerly PYNE) from Wellington. Anthony and Jane's children were James, Louisa, Florrie, Hector and Frederick.
