I have an amusing handwritten account, in verse, of the 'Addlestrap Feast' held at The White Hart Hotel, Stow on the Wold. No date but probably late 1700's or early 1800's. Several guests are partially named, e.g. "Miss Br--kes", also details of the food served and the dancing. Does anyone have further information?

My g-g-grandfather was James Henry BALL THOMAS who emigrated to Australia with his wife Elizabeth Ann PRICE in 1855.
James Henry dropped the THOMAS from his name & became known as BALL upon his arrival.
He was the illegitimate son of James Henry BALL and Mary THOMAS, baptized on 11/6/1809. His father (1785 - 1847)later went on to marry Betty (Elizabeth?) HARRIS and had a family by her.
James Henry BALL (THOMAS) had a total of 22 children - 12 from marriage to Ann PRICE and 10 by second wife, Catherine HANLEY. Most settled in South Australia and south-western Victoria.
