Robert married Rose BROWNING and John married Florence HILL. Trying to locate the other brother, SidneyAlbert COOPER. All three boys were born in Brighton in the 1870`s.

Looking for information about my great grandfather's family. Joseph Millins Pickett lived in East Ham, Essex at the time of the 1901 census. He was born in 1856 in Pett, Sussex. He married Emma Elizabeth Eyles in 1879 in Battersea where they livedat least until 1882 and had two or more children. By 1901 he had moved to East Ham, Essex and is shown married to Louise E. Pickett with four additional children, and working as a self employed accountant.

Alfred Edward Browne's eldest son Alfred Richard marriage certificate was found. I found the marriage certificate of 1888 Marriage 25 dec 1888 - parish chuch stepney alfred richard brown age 21 - 26 grovenor st - fatheralfred ed brown - stoker harriet floyd age 21 - 26 grovenor st - father william james floyd in presence of henry p campfield & alice floyd (sister) checking the 1891 census I found the young couple as BROWNE in Mile End Old Town with onechild Matilda A Browne. I also checked the 1891 census for FLOYD and found Harriets parents with a girl with the surname BROWNE. After narrowing it down I decided that the Alfred and Harriet Brown in East Ham must be the correct ones. They lived at 94 Southborough Road (Manor Park) East Ham in 1901. Parish church St Mary The Virgin Little Ilford. (E12) - I can find the street - must no longer exist. The census shows that Alfred & Harriet had three children ! Dorothy Maud Browne, born Bromley...

My Holloway family goes back to the begining of the Parish registers in East Ham. Obviously a lot of marriages took place but not always at the East Ham Parish. Therefore I do not have the bride's maiden name in some cases. I am particularly trying to trace the maiden name of Barbara who was born in Hailfax Nova Scotia CANADA in 1796 who married William HOLLOWAY around 1813-15? Many of my direct Holloway relatives were called George or particualy William. My family ran the White Horse Inn on and off for several years. Fred HOLLOWAY came to Australia in 1881. William Pontifex, a priest, of St Christopher's church, London, and chaplain of St Mary Magdalen, East Ham, Essex. Inducted the vicar of West Ham in 1511. Will proved 10 July 1518. To be buried in churchyard of St. Mary Magdalen. Niece Agnes Guge, her husband Thomas, their sons Thomas, John, William.
