Walton Longstaff - Darlington
Thanks to help on here I have my answers re Mary Ellen LONGSTAFF. Mary Ellen had a sister Emily LONGSTAFF who died giving birth to Arthur LONGSTAFF about 1890. Mary Ellen' s brothers were Charles and William. Parents James and Jane, Grandfather, Joseph. I have a formal photo of a group of 6 Longstaff children from an estimated 1885/7. Probably Mary Ellen, Emily, Charles and William plus two others. Several members of the family all lived together at 7 Houndgate including two Edward Longstaffs, both unmarried in 1881. The other two children could be theirs? Can anybody help with an old photo of the house? The address is now the careers office and it looks like a modern replacement.
