I am looking for information about the date of death of my Great Grandmother Rose Brown, she lived in Norton on Tees in 1915 and had a daughter also called Rose who was born in 1900. My Gt Grandmother was married to Arthur Breeze Brown ( she was his second wife). I know that Arther died in 1928 but I cannot find a death record for Rose, her maiden name was Downey and she was born in Ireland but before marrying Arthur she lived in North Ormesby, Middlesbrough.

This last fellow is of particular interest. I have him marrying two women with his children's birth dates all mixed up. I'm not sure which wife they belong to or even if he was married to both of these women. I am sure of JANE PURVIS, but not ELIZABETH NEVISON.

Another son of JOHN ENDERWICK and MARY PACE was THOMAS ENDERWICK, B. 1826 Houghton-le-Spring, Durham, England; D. Dec. 1906 East Riding, Yorkshire, England.
I need to find out who THOMAS was married to. The only child that I have for THOMAS and Unknown is THOMAS, Jr., who was born June 10, 1857 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A friend of mine descends from this THOMAS and I am doing research to uncover his roots. He was adopted when a toddler and knows nothing of his roots.

My husbands family tree is a real challenge, especially his mothers side.
His mum was called Annie Hayes nee Firman, she was born in a van, on the racecourse Elvet Durham in 1912.
Her father was called William George Firman 1875c he died in 1918 in Stockton, occupation on death certificate was Travelling Showman.
I have not been able to find birth records for either of her parents or a marriage certificate. Dont know where they were born.
Her mother was called Elizabeth Ann Firman nee Robson 1875c, she died in Stockton, occupation Travelling Show Woman.
Annie was one of 7 children, born in the areas of Easington, Morpeth, Hartlepool.

Related to several lines that were in the Stockton-on-Tees area prior to 1700 and forward. I have my direct lines and some side lines from 1700 forward, but am working to trace the lines back.
The Launce and Fowler lines go back from a William Fowler and a Maria (Merieh) Launce. The Headlam and Wilson lines go back from a Robert Wilson and a Mary Headlam (daughter of John Headlam) of Tile Shades.
I obtained a lot of useful info on a visit a few years ago.

I'm trying to find out about an inquest on my ancestor Thomas Proud he died on the 23rd July 1863 aged 51 years and the inquest was held on the 25th July 1863 in Stockton.(This is from his death cert.) I'm working on my great-grandmother's line and hoping to put together a pedigree chart for my mom's 86th birthday. I have been able to follow the line back to my great-grandmother's line to her great-great-grandmother, who was christened in Stockton as Margaret Bell on 17 Feb. 1767. Her parents are listed as John and Margaret Bell.
Margaret married Thomas Jolley of Billingside in 1788.
Their son was John Jolley, born in 1789 in Billingside
That's all I know about her family but would love to learn more about her parents and siblings. Can anyone offer some information or suggestions to this Yank?

Howes, she married my grandfather, Colin Martin in 1920. I'm sure they lived at Carter Street until 1922/23.
