Ivy Emily GIBSON (née JEFFERY or REVELEY)
- Bishop Auckland
An "I E GIBSON" notified the death of Alfred William REVELEY in 1957 in Wales. She was detailed as his daughter. I would like to contact descendants of hers to find out more about her and Alfred and also Ivy's mother Maria REVELEY, (late JEFFERY, née KING, who died in 1961 in Wales). Maria had two other children, older than Ivy, Elizabeth KING and Edward JEFFERY, whom it is believed Alfred adopted. I do not know if Ivy was Alfred's daughter or if he also adopted her. In 1957, Ivy was living at 16 Dalton Avenue, St Helens, Bishop Auckland. She married a GIBSON. She died in April 1997.

Seagrave / Segrave / Segriff family search
- Bishop Auckland
I am looking for any data on the family of Christopher Segrave (born Ireland) and wife Mary Riley (possibly reilley of Meath Ireland). The earliest record shows the family recorded as Segary and also Segruff. Both Christopher and Mary's fathers were recorded as being called Michael and were also both from Ireland (of unknown county origins) but I can find no birth dates or accurate record for either. Christopher's family can be traced from Witton Park where he worked in the Paradise Iron Works(Escomb parish). From here they moved to Bishop Auckland and most records have been found for them at St Wilfreds R.C. Church. They settled first in 'Great Gates' Bishop Auckland then Bondgate, Powell's Yard, Backway in Passage and Bridge Street. My Great Great Grandfather Edward was Christopher's son. Any info, no mater how small would be appreciated.
