He was my 3xGreatGrandfather and he lived in various parts of the country but spent most of his time around Birtley and was Innkeeper of the Coach and Horses with his 2nd wife Elizabeth from around 1850 until his death prior to the 1871 census. I am looking for Frank born January 1956 and Pauline born 1962. Their mother was Jessie Vermuyten and their father was Joseph Edmondson. Jessie's mother was Marion Johnson of Chester-le-Street and her father was Joseph Vermuyten, a Belgian national who came to England during World War 2. The family lived in Birtley until at least 1992. There may have been another daughter. Please can anyone who knows of them let me know. I am their cousin Valerie (daughter of Joseph Edmondson's sister). There was a rift in the family, but all concerned are now dead and I wonder what became of them?
