teams gateshead
- East Gateshead
I have in my possession a letter of sympathy sent to my mother by a Mrs Cathy Worobiew who lived in Gateshead probably about 1957. This lady had a small baby and apparently knew my grandfather well.
I am doing my family tree and cannot find much info about my grandfather and am hoping someone may know this lady it is possible she worked with my grandfather. Maybe in the Long bar in Newcastle on Tyne. I believe her son will be around 52 years old. If anyone can help I would be more than grateful any piece of info she or he can give me would be great. I cannot pinpoint exactly where he was born and I am sure if by chance this lady is still living she would be able to help me maybe hunt down some of his relatives. His name was Edward Bowery and he was living in Byker in Newcastle at the time of his death.
Thanks in anticipation
Maureen
