DOMONEY
- Iwerne Minster
I'm looking for info regarding the Domoney family, in particular Charles b1858 who married an Esther. Charles' father was John Domoney b1835.
One of Charles' children Walter John b 1881 emigrated to Australia in 1909, and it is this fact that I wish to confirm.
I believe him to be my maternal grandfather.
There are many Domoneys in the Dorset area, but I think Charles & Esther moved to Battersea and had their family there.
Walter's siblings were Harry b1879, Lilly H b 1882, Caroline b1885, Albert b1889 and Frederick b1894.
Confirmation of Walter's emigration to Australia is essential to enable me to tie up the family this end.
Hope someone over there can assist. Patricia

My Grandfather Edgar Tharme was born 31st Jan 1893 in Kinson. I am trying to find someone that could throw some light on his death. There is no record of his death in the UK. Lost Legg?
- Litton Cheney
Job LEGG to be precise. My mother-in-law was Flossie LEGG who came from several generations of LEGGs who lived in Buriton, Hants. The name can be traced back to Job LEGG b c.1801 if the age on his death certificate is reliable. Only other informationfrom 1841 census is that he was born out of Hampshire. From IGI it seems that most Job LEGGs hail from Dorset, and the most likely from Litton Cheney, so is anyone missing him from their tree? Would also be interested to hear from anyone who has their Job LEGG as that would eliminate him from inquiries!

HONEYBUN/BOURNE
- Loders
OF POWERSTOCK AND LODERS
We would be pleased to hear from any Honeybun/Honeybourne from this area. We can trace our ancestors back to 1805. Edward H. is supposed to have been born in Loders, but no trace of his birth/christening. Once we have worked out who is father was, (there are only a few possibilities) we can then go back to the 1500's. Help!
