I'm looking for info regarding the Domoney family, in particular Charles b1858 who married an Esther. Charles' father was John Domoney b1835. One of Charles' children Walter John b 1881 emigrated to Australia in 1909, and it is this fact that I wish to confirm. I believe him to be my maternal grandfather. There are many Domoneys in the Dorset area, but I think Charles & Esther moved to Battersea and had their family there. Walter's siblings were Harry b1879, Lilly H b 1882, Caroline b1885, Albert b1889 and Frederick b1894. My Grandfather Edgar Tharme was born 31st Jan 1893 in Kinson. I am trying to find someone that could throw some light on his death. There is no record of his death in the UK. We know he was killed in an accident 1925/26 while at sea abroad, but have been unable to find any record of the place he died and when he died. My hope is that an older member or the extended Tharme family may remember being told of his death. When he married in 1915 he went to live on the Isle of Wight and lived there until his death.
