Trying to find family history for the Samson family tree. GGGrandfather John was born (abt 1863) in Hawkchurch. GGGrandmother Alice was born in Thorncombe (abt 1858), they both moved to the Rhondda, where unfortunately John lost his life in a colliery incident (Dec 1898). There were children of this marriage, Edith May(died 6mths),William John (GGrandfather)Sarah Anne, and Alice. After the accident Alice Samson remarried and had a son, Albert. It is known that William John visited family members in Hawkchurch/Thorncombe. I would love to hear from anyone who may know anything about the Samsons in Devon/Dorset

Frederick married Elizabeth Belbin at Woolland on 14 January 1766. She was baptised at Woolland on 5 December 1746 and her parents were Richard and Mary Belbin.
