Steele, Dorchester, East Meon and N. London - (Dorchester - Dorset)
Seeking any info on the Steele family that included Stephen and Amelia, Millers at Frogmore and Drayton mills East Meon in the early 1800s, their parents, Stephen and Lucy (nee Tull)and their descendant, Edward who moved to Dorchester and became a draper and magistrate in that town in the latter part of 19th century, and of course any other ancestors or descendant links. In Dorchester the family lived at Wollaston House. Later my ancestors moved to North London.

Freak family who lived in Durweston in the 1760's (at leaat) and onwards. Thomas was born in about 1761 and seems to have married twice - Caroline Upward and Mary?. CHARLES & JANE were married 27 July 1797 in Fleet, Chickerell. On 1841 census JANE OLDRIDGE age 65 was living with her daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Thomas Randall & grandaughter Eliza in the village of Chickerell. JANE died in 1850.
WOLDIGE has many variations, OLDIGE, OLDAGE, OLDRIDGE. HORDEN could be HURDEN. Would appreciate any info on these families
