I have detailed all census 1841 to 1901 below. 1841 Census - George MARLOW in Horstone, Bishops Tawton, Devon. 1851 Census - George MARLO in Cuckles Lane, Bishops Tawton, Devon. 1861 Census - Jane MARLO (George's wife and family no sign of George) in Woodland, Bishops Tawton, Devon (next building enumerated is Whorstone). 1871 Census - George MARLOW in Oarston Cottage, Bishops Tawton. 1881 Census - George MARLOW in Horestone Cottage, Bishops Tawton, Devon. 1891 Census - George MARLOW in Horestone, Bishops Tawton, Devon. 1901 Census - George MARLOW in Horestone Cottages, Bishops Tawton, Devon. It appears he may have lived in the same Street (if not the same house) all his life.

Stevens family - Bishopsteignton
My grandmother was Elsie Louisa Stevens b.1896, daughter of George and Harriet(Potter)Stevens. She and siblings Edith, Mabel, George, Lily, Tom, Sarah and one other(I think) were all born in Bishopsteignton. Elsie married a soldier, George Albert Tabor and had one child, my mother, Violet Edith, before leaving for Canaada in 1918. Does this ring any bells out there? Looking for relatives!

Lived Dartmouth probably between 1836 and 1849. Family in 1851 census in West Teignmouth 'Globe Lane'. Thomas Davey SMITH emigrated to Australia abt 1853 - 1856. Some possible connections (not yet verified) Ellen MARCHANT, Richard Stevens SMITH, VENTON. Possibly Albert moved to Gloucester.

My grandmothers name was Florence and my grandfathers name was robert, john or clifford(family names). my father, clifford, was born in 1920 and there were siblings including Robert and Ronnie. remembered information from stories, my great grandfather was an estate carpenter and a relative worked at the local big house perhaps Knightsayes and we had relatives who were managers or officials at the workhouse, . my grandmother died early in south wales and i think the family may have moved back to Bolham for a short while.
