I am looking for information about a Florence Bertha Vodden (my Great Gran) who was born in Bideford on the 28/12/1904 she was later married to a Arthur Vowles from Bristol in the 1920/30's and had 4 children Dennis Vowles, Bernard Vowles, Evelyn Doris Vowles and Marjorie Jean Vowles all born in the 1930's in Exeter . She later married a 2nd time to a Vernon Paul in 1955 in Exeter and died in 1970. If you have any information on my Great Gran please contact me.

He lived in Australia for a while then I lost him. Could he have returned home and is he the Richard Mullins listed in the 1881 census as being a boarder of William Tailor of Landkey. Alfred was an Inland Revenue Excise Officer. He appeared in the census on 30 March 1851 in Barnstaple. The address was: Bear Street. Living with parents. Scholar. He and Sarah ASHTON had 7 following children. And so it goes on… Anyone willing to share findings with me?

Clarice left the family home around 1944, she was living in central london,near the royal albert hall and possibly a secretary to a doctor.
