Popes In West Anstey
- West Anstey
Henry Pope b.20 Aug 1700 married (27 Apr 1727)Jane Hill b.22 Mar 1704/05.
They had seven children all born in West Anstey.
They are: Joan b. 31 May 1728, Henry b.23 Oct 1730, Thomas, b. 14 Feb 1731/32, William b. 8 Aug 1735, Tamzin b. 2 Mar 1736/37,Jane 9 Nov. 1740, John b. 17 May 1743.
Henry Pope married Catherine Triggs on 12 Jul 1758. She was from Cruwys Morchard and they moved to Cruwys Morchard to raise their family of seven children.
Question. I believe but cannot certainly establish that the Henry from West Anstey is the same Henry Pope that married Catherine Triggs.Ther do not appear to be any other Henrys that fit the situation. Can this be validated?
