Witheridge--MoriceTown, Stoke Damerel, Devonport
- Plymouth
Has anyone information about the Witheridges of Stoke Damerel? I am interested in Richard Witheridge "a mariner" and Isabelle / Isabella Talleck or Atherton specifically as well as their children. The ones I know of are Isabella Witheridge (Davis), Elizabeth Witheridge, and Lucy Witheridge. In 1841 they lived at 4 Moon Street, Morice Town. I haven't been able to find Richard and Isabelle after 1841. I have a half-baked theory that either one or both died (cholera?) before 1851. In 1851, Elizabeth and Lucy are found in orphanage records. Isabella married Russell John Davis in Stoke Damerel in 1852.

Pearson, Edward Thomas Tremaine
- Plymouth
My great-great grandfather Edward T.T. Pearson was born Abt. Dec 25, 1835. He came to the United States sometime in the period 1868-1872 or 3 as he married in Feb 3, 1874. He came from Plymouth but am not sure if he was born in Plymouth. He came with a picture of his mother which was taken in 1868. We believe her last name was Tremaine and her first name Mary. We also belive his father's name was John. Any information would be helpful. Maybe the 1851 or 1861 census would help but I don't have anything on those two census' here in the United States.
