The Pine-Coffins of East Down - (East Down - Devon)
In 1805 the Revd John Pine-Coffin inherited Impington Hall in Cambridgeshire from his aunt, Ann Pepys. Earlier he had inherited the North Devon Estate of Portledge in 1797 and changed his surname to Pine-Coffin from Pine. His only son, the Rev Charles Pine-Coffin was the Rector of East Down from 1800 until his death in 1850 and is buried at East Down, inherited Impington Hall upon his father's death in 1824. The Rev Charles' son (Charles John Samuel Pine-Coffin) sold Impington Hall in 1864. The Histon and Impington Village Society had a number of items on the Pine-Coffins.

Elizabeth (B.1774), Thomas (B.1777), Samuel (B.1780), John (B.1786), Mary (B. 1792) and William (B. 1797) from who I decend from. Probably there were others who died.
