LJ Rosevear, Cathedral Glazier - newspaper article? - Exeter
My great grandfather Lyon ROSEVEAR was Head Glazier at Exeter Cathedral during the Blitz (seconded from Drake & sons). When he retired in the late 1950s or early 60s, a newspaper article was published with a photo showing him being presented with a platter or something by a group of dignataries (he saved much of the ancient stained glass, which allows us to see it today). I live abroad and can't browse Exeter Library's collection of local newspapers. If anyone comes across this article, or knows how to obtain it with such vague information, I should like to hear from them. I saw the article in a drawer as a child and rue not being more curious then.
