Tucker,John - born 1800 to 1805

The above married Jane Elliot in 1824 and at that time is believed to have been a carpenter. The couple had two sons,Edward(born 1826/7)and James (born 1836). Jane died in 1840 of tuberculosis. At this time John described himself as an accountant. About 1850 James moved to Leeds. Nothing more is known about either John or his son Edward. Any information about either would be appreciated.

William Warren

Looking for help finding the family of William, Mary, and Harriet Warren in the 1841 census of Buckfastleigh. I think this Harriet is my great grandmother who marries Frederick Field in 1865. Her father William comes to America in 1868 after the death of his wife Mary, and leaves the children, Harriet, William and Mary with his father. They are in his household in 1851, in Southmolton on East St. His name is Joseph. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank You

William Warren comes to America in 1848-49 not 1868. I believe his wife Mary died in child birth after daughter Mary worn ca 1848 Tavistock. Can't find her death record. What happens between 1848-1851 that the children are living with grandfather in South Molton? HELP

Yet another Roper I seem to have misplaced. I am looking for John Roper born abt 1822 at Buckfastleigh ( According to the parish register he did have a brother John who died as a baby born abt 1821) and his wife Grace Roper Nee Memory born abt 1822 at Buckfastleigh, Devon, UK. I have them in the 1841 and 1851 census but after this they disappear and I wonder if they emigrated. ( I dont have access to emigration records)

Hi I am trying to find more details of a Margaret Blight born abt 1765 give or take (Estimate on birth date). She married a John Roper at Buckfastleigh, Devon, UK on 06/07/1787. They had the children Catharine, John, Margaret, Joanna, William, Thomas, Robert, John, John Fanny, Mary and Martha. (Obviously not all survived). Neither Margaret Blight nor her husband John show in the parish birth registers so suspect they may have come from a neighbouring parish. (Have found them in IGI but no parents) can anyone help. William Hardy (Hardey)born c1810 Buckland, Thirlston, Devon married Ann Mules bap.26/4/1807 on 30/10/1829 at Malborough, Devon. They had three sons and arrived in Adelaide, South Australia on the ship 'Brightman" in 1840. Ann died Migrant's Department 12/2/1841 aged 34years. On 27/11/1841 William married Mary Tregay. They had twin daughters born 21/8/1846 Betsy Tregay Hardy and Mary Hardy. They died 1846
William worked as an agricultural labourer (vineyards) and died 9/8/1908 aged 72 years.

Looking for anyone researching familes with the names FUGE, GAWMAN, WYAR in the 1700s. Henry Gawman married Elizabeth Fuge, 27 DEC 1783 at Buckland Mon although I suspect they lived at the Walkhampton / Horrabridge end of the parish which is where subsequent generations turn up.
Elizabeth Fuge was baptised at Buckland Monachorum 04 JUL 1759, daughter of Thomas Fuge & Elizabeth Wyar.
