Duke Street, Burbage - Burbage
There was a shop on Duke Street,Burbage which in Bulmer's History and Directory of Derbyshire 1895 was run by one T.B.Wilde. This is where my grand mother worked as a girl about 1907. I was hoping that some old photos might still exist of that area of Burbage.
As well anything at all about the Buxton College where in 1924 another Mr W.T.Wilde who was the son of the shop keeper was a Master at the Buxton College and Secretary/Treasurer of "The Buxtonian" which was the school's magazine.

TATTERSHALL TATTERSALL WATTS - Castleton Hope Valley & Tideswell
- Castleton
Looking for links between the TATTERSHALL/TATTERSALL lines in the Hope Valley in Derbyshire and Stannington Nr Sheffield in Yorkshire.
Thomas Tattersall (b 1804, Sheffield area) and Elizabeth WATTS (presumed b Stannington but possibly Derbyshire) lived in Stannington from at least 1830. Only marriage I can find is in Castleton in Derbyshire - and in later censuses there are other Tattersalls living in Stannington that were born in the Hope valley. Too much of a co-incidence? Anyone aware of family connections?
