I believe his parents to be William Pegge/pegg/peggs born 1814 in Shirley, Derbyshire and Elizabeth? also born Brailsford. On 1851,1861,1871,William is a farmer. In 1881 he is a farmer of 200 acres in Yeldersley.

Looking for any information on Temperance WATSON born in Mayfield, Staffordshire in 1800. Her family lived in Brassington Derbyshire where she married Thomas WHEELDON in 1820. Thomas died c1833 after which she seems to vanish. They had at least 5 children, John WHEELDON c1820, William WHEELDON c1822,Thomas WHEELDON c1825,George WHEELDON c1827 and Robert WHEELDON c1829. The family moved around living in Brassington, Wyaston, and Yeldersley over the years. I would be willing to share any research with interested parties.

I have several photographs of group activities relating to employees and their fmailies of W H Paul, Longmoor Lane, Breaston in the 1950s, e.g.
children's parties, amateur theatricals, archery club, celebrations. Also another photo, showing the line up of a dance concert which would have taken place early 50s, by the dance class that met in the upper room of The Chequers. Also a few photos of school outings.
