I am researching Jennings family form Weston upon Trent and Wednesbury. Joseph Jennings born 1771 died March 1845 Weston upon Trent. Married: Mary ? Eight Children all born Weston upon Trent. Their 5th Child was my Great Great Grandfather Thomas Jennings born 12 September 1810 died 02 October 1867 Wednesbury. Married around 1830 -32 place and wife unknown Two sons: #1 unknown #2 Alfred Jennings born 15 October 1835 place unknown, died 07 September 1924 Fort Payne, Dekalb, Alabama, USA. Alfred was living with grandparents in 1841 Weston census, unable to find him in 1851. He immigrated to the USA 1857. Family members say his mother died around 1837. I found a death record (West Bromwich) for Caroline Jennings however I cannot find any information to link her with Thomas or Alfred. In March 1842 Thomas married Sarah Gadd In Wem&C. they are listed 1851 & 1861 Census living at 33 Darlington Street, Wednesbury. They had four sons all born in Wednesbury. Can anyone tell me about Samuel LEVICK's two wives. I believe he was married to an Ann Leggatt around 1830, and had three sons. One of them may have also been called Samuel. Who were the other two? and what happened to them when their Mother died.Did she die? Samuel married again in 1838 to Mary Simpson of Stockwell. They had three daughters - possibly Mary, Ann and Caroline. Caroline married Enoch Blower and had four? daughters.
