Joseph was b 1813 Bakewell according to ancestry but I am told the pob is not Bakewell but might well be a place nearby where someone might give the pob later as Bakewell perhaps.
He later moved to Yorkshire and married Hannah Douglas.

I am looking for the family of Thomas Hallows, a stonemason born in or near Bakewell in about 1825. His father was William, a farmer. Thomas moved to West Derby, Lancashire (Liverpool)where he married Sophia Jenour at Walton on the Hill on 23rd August 1846. I think Thomas died in about 1869. He and Sophie had a number of children including Mary Elizabeth, Thomas, Abraham, Henry, William.

George Fletcher born 1837 in Froggatt married Sarah Hodgkinson born Hathersage 1833. Lived in Bamford from about 1863 with children, Winifred, John, Sarah and Mary and stepson, Frederick. In 1891, Sarah living with daughters Sarah and Mary. Son, John a Groom at Derwent Hall. In 1901 Sarah now 69 living with daughter Sarah (Twigg) and son Ernest Twigg (8). John now a Coachman at Derwent Hall. Mary now married to George Bagshaw and living in Hathersage.

They had at least one son also named Robert who married Annie Goodwin Bradley and eventually settled in Hasland.

I am interested in tracing the father of John Millington bpt 25/08/1799 at Great Barlow. IGI has his mother as a Mary Lea but there is no father. At around the same time there were several other Millington children bpt'd showing their father as Thomas Millington. These children included Thomas Millington Bpt 16/11/1794, Betty bpt 22/03/1800, Sarah Bpt 14/05/1909 and Hannah Bpt 01/03/1812. Unfortunately no mother was shown for these.

Jason Froggatt son of Samuel of Moorside married his second wife Elizabeth Arthur in 1823. She died in 1836 leaving Jason with the income from her estate during his lifetime. On death the estate was to be divided between the families of her brothers Benjamin and William Arthur and her sisters Mary Haslam and Sarah Bark. Her executor was John Cutts solicitor of Chesterfield.looking to find relatives with information about her place of birth and burial. She may have been a non conformist.There was an Arthur family in Wadshelf but she does not appear to belong to that family.

Sarah Troth b. Nov 1839 lived with Thomas Cockin. Both found in 1861 Census lodging in Dudley, Staffs, then in Monk St, Tutbury, Derbys in 1871 then in Redditch in 1881. Sarah was previously married to a Thomas Swain in 1856 but in the 1861 Census she was not with him. Thomas Swain died in 1871 age 33. I have previously been tracing the name Tooth without success so tried Troth and found Sarah's family. The date of her marriage to Thomas Cockin is also not known, because I do not think they ever married. Can anyone help?
