Moses was a Journeyman Shoemaker, and married at least 3 times, first to Catherine COLLIER,Dec 1840 who died in childbirth ( their son John, died 6 months later), then he married my GGGrandmother Sarah PARKER, who died in 1858 in the Workhouse, from where she had married in 1848, then a Sarah Jane CAUSER in 1861. On the 1871 census he was a News Vender, and I would like to find out if that meant that he was selling newspapers on the street corner or was he selling them from a shop? Moses died in 1879 in the Workhouse. I think that both Sarah & Moses were probably in the WorkhouseInfirmary, but that might be wishful thinking! Any information on any of these names would be extremely welcome. I would like to know what they were like and more about them.
