I believe that my gt.gt.grandmother, may have been baptised in Duffield. I know from various census entries that she was born Derby but the only baptism that I can find for her name, around the right time is on 26/03/1826 in Duffield. Her name was, Anne Newbold, her parents were, William Newbold and Elizabeth. There is also a record of a marriage between a William Newbold and an Elizabeth Eley on 07/03/1822 in Duffield.
Does anyone have any of these names in their family tree, or can anyone give me any information on the Newbold or Eley families?

John Lomas married a Mary Godwin and had their first son William in Duffield they then moved to Leicester and my ancester Henry Lomas was born, they then moved to Birmingham, Great Barr Street. Henry Lomas married Emma Woodcock and they moved upto Sheffield and my gt.grandmother was born. They returned to Birmingham, where my grandfather Joseph Cormell was born.

His wife Annie? and daughters Sarah aged 22, Beatrice aged 18, Harriot aged 16 and Ethel aged 14 all born in Intake. Did he run a pub near to the middle of Sheffield?, or any information about him and his family would be appreciated. His son John is my G Grandfather.

Father listed as Edward Dowley in Ann's entry. Loads of Cowley family in Eckington. Did clerk make a mistake? Charity Dowley Cousins, my multi grandmother was arrested for rioting in 1791.(She got off!)
