My Great Grandfather Henry Archer lived here for some time during the 1860's. He was a "Master Blacksmith" as per my Gt.Aunt Sarah Ann Archer's Birth Certificate. She was born on the 7th October 1866 in Great Hucklow.
Can anyone tell me where the Blacksmiths workshop would be at this time & if it is still there to view.

Searching for the Norminton family - Charles Norminton (joiner and shopkeeper in Hadfield in 1851 and Jenny had son John Ottewell Norminton b1809. He firstly married a Sarah, was a druggist/chemist in Hadfield, then remarried my ggg-grandmother Eliza Crossley - they lived in Norminton Buildings, Hadfield. Eventually moved to Grimsby, Lincs. I have been looking at Wardles of Hartington and wonder if Isaac bap. 1723 is the Isaac I traced back thru Sheffield to Stony Middleton.(This has yet to be proved). Isaac in S.M. married Sarah Hallam in 1747. His son Joseph went to Sheffield, and the family descended thru 3 Henrys to my maternal grandmother, Evelyn, born in 1897.

illegitemate.Censuses after show him as being born in Hasland so perhaps that is where Hannah

I am looking for relatives of John Thomas Hibbert born circa 1855 in Hayfield, Derbyshire. He married Esther Sandiford and they had 3 or 4 children one of which was my grandmother Elizabeth Ann know as Bessie. John Thomas Hibbert was a master baker and had a shop on Buxton Road Disley and Elizabeth Ann was his assistant, they baked pies and cakes. I think my grandmother had a brother called Frank.

Some of the family later in the late 1800s early 1900s moved to Eccles and Patricroft Lancashire. My Tree starts with Edward Hadfield born in 1719 Who Married a Sarah Kenworthy. They had one child as far as I know John Hadfield Born 1746 who married a Sarah Hill. I have over 300 records of Related Hadfields in and around the above mentioned areas.I know it is a common name in the area but any help would be appreciated
