Cumrew Rawson/Robinson
- Cumrew
My 3x great grandmother Hannah Robinson is listed on the 1881 and 1891 census as living at Cumrew School house as a lodger with the schoolmaster, John Rawson, and his wife Mary Ann. In 1901 Hannah and Mary Ann are living in Kirkbymoorside. I believe that Hannah and her daughter Clara had made a trip to Australia in the 1860s, didn't like it and caught the next boat home. I am interested in any connection with the Rawsons, and how Hannah and Clara came to be living with them.
