Bateman - St Bees
Angus Bateman (b. about 1785) married Ann Robinson (b. about 1788) in St Bees, Cumberland, on 15 Feb 1808. By 1841 they were living in Bolton Lancashire, although some of their children had apparently been born earlier in Hull, Yorkshire, and later moved there. The family were involved in the linen industry, the men as flax dressers. I would like to find the origins of Angus and Ann, and any relationships to the other Batemans and Robinsons in the Whitehaven area or elsewhere. Please contact if you have any information, or just have an interest in this family.
