Archibald, Norah & family of 6- born in England Archie 1-11-1886, James 1-16-88, John 1-26-90, Nora 2-7-92, Joseph 12-21-95, Elizabeth Margaret 4-23-97 moved to Dalmellington, Scotland sometime between 1897 & 1899, I think. 5 other children were born in Dalmellington Rose 12-29-99, Isabella 12-26-1901, William Henry 11-29-04, Thomas 11-9-06, Patrick 4-25-09. All of theFamily worked in the coal mines there except Norah. They all came to the USA (Ellis Island-New York-Vessel Transylvania) & stayed in the New Jersey areas. The citizenship papers show Archibald & Norah were born in Domarragh, Ireland. As far as I knowthere isn't any such place. It may have been mis-interpreted due to the Irish way of speaking. It may have been Dromore or some other town sounding like that. That is all the information I have on my family & I would gratfully appreciate finding mybeginnings. Thank You Again. Nora

He was also oneof the rescue team during the Wellington Pit Disaster of 1910 for which he was awarded the George Medal. He had seven children.
