I bought a family bible at an auction recently it contains a birth certificate for John Harker born December 10, 1895. The mother is listed as Mary Ann Harker formerly Scott. The father is listed as James Harker. Registar. as Thomas Lowes. District of Sedgefield in the county of Durham. Entry No. 25 in the register book of births No. 63. It also contains a memorial card for John Scott, the son of Goerge and Ann Scott of Tudhoe Grange, Spennymoor, It also say who departed this life at America,Jan. 6, 1882. aged 28 years. Also A memoriam card for Issabella , Wife of Robert Thompson,of RoseVilla, Bedington. departed this life on january 10th, 1893. interred at Bedington Cemetery.
