Richard Jenking - St. Just in Roseland

William Jenkin 1699 & Matilda Sharrock 1698 - St Just in Roseland
I have traced ancestry to Sherrock / Sharrock Jenking 15.07.1733 and second wife, Mary. Others in line are William Jenking chr. 02.09. 1699 - 10.02.1756 and Matilda Sharrock 14.01.1698 - 31.07.1750, John Jenkin c. 1665 and Katherine Pascoe 1663. William Henry Jenkings or Jenkins born c. 1840 Cork, Ireland - St Just in Roseland
Trying to trace ancestry of William Henry Jenkings or Jenkins born c.1840 in Cork, Ireland. 1871 census living in St. Just in Roseland, occupation trinity pilot. His wife's name was Margaret - probably Margaret Peters from St. Just - marriage 07.01.1864. (Witnesses to marriage were William Peters and Rhoda Peters.) Children: Margaret 1865 Maffia 1865 William Henry 1867 John T. 1869 Adala 1870 (occ. assistant teacher) Albert 1870 Charles 1871 (occ. carpenter apprentice) Joseph 1874(engineer apprentice) Jonas 1875 Mabel 1877 Laura 1882 and Alice 1886. Adala became Adala Phillips and had a child Evelyn F. Phillips born 1900. Indications are that the next ancestor up from William Henry c. 1840 also had the name William Jenkin/s, was a coast guard officer and could be connected to descendants of William Jenkin 1699 and Matilda Sharrock but this is difficult, if not impossible to prove ! Perhaps a descendant of William Henry Jenkins may be able to help throw some light on this. I am interested because the family were living next door but one to my Jenkings ancestors in the 1871 census and I thought they might therefore be related.
