My grandmother was Elizabeth MITCHELL born in 1853. Her parents were James MITCHELL born 1818 died 1880 and Susan COCK born 1820 died 1893. Her brothers were Richard, James, John, Philip, Thomas and Samuel. Thomas may have died young. Sisters Nancy and maybe Ann. I've traced Philip's family but no one else.

Looking for information on Thomas Harris, Occupation: Smelter & Boilermaker, born 1816. Went to South Australia on the Barque 'Richardsons' about 1848, leaving Swansea. Daughter Sarah Harris born at sea, possibly in Bay Of Biscay.

Martha Ellen Wyatt - St. Agnes
I would like any information on the above person. She was born in 1865 in St Agnes to Eliza or Elizabeth. I cannot find a birth certificate under the name Wyatt so she may have been registered under a different name as her mother was only 15 and therefore unmarried. She appears with her mother in 1881 census in Falmouth(mother widowed). Her father is listed on marriage certificate (1884)as Samuel Wyatt - Labourer - Deceased.

Has anyone any information on JOHN ROLLEY 1743 - 1804. He is described as - 'a Cornishman' He was a tinner then a mining surveyor and ended up managing a mine for Lord Cawdor in Mydffai, Carmarthenshire. But it is his origins which are a mystery.
