Digory Pearce (son of Thomas Pearce and Elizabeth Clemoes/Clemas) born in St Austell in 1795. He married Elizabeth Pascoe in 1825 and they had five children:
Jane (born 1830), John Pascoe (born 1826), Thomas (born 1828 died 1829) Thomas (born 1833) and George (born 1836).
Both Digory and Elizabeth died in 1836, leaving a very young family. Jane is my great grandmother but I know nothing of what happened to the rest of the children. Any help appreciated.

James Thomas is my ggg-grandfather. According to the 1871 census (Crowan parish) James was was born in St Austell in 1836. He married Susan Skewes (b. 1837 Gwennap) 1857 in Phillack .

I believe James' father to be James Thomas, Sr (b, 1810/11) and believe both James Jr and Sr were connected with the Cornish Copper Company at Hayle as blacksmiths.

Any information on the above person who is possibly my ggg-grandmother. Found in 1901 Census at the age of 78 living in Lower Porthpean but cannot find in earlier censuses. Query on spelling of surname as entry is indistinct. Anecdotal evidence from my family suggests the Treslaw family were builders and helped build the Market Building in St Austell.

Benjamin Hooper (b. Nov 9, 1796 at Princess Street-Independent, Devonport) and married Frances (Fanny) Marsh)......their date of marriage has not been determined yet. Their children are: William Henry Hooper b. 1833; Mary Jane Hooper b. 1835; Robert Benjamin Hooper b. 1837; Frances Hooper, b. 1841; and Margaret Hooper, b. 1842.
Robert Benjamin Hooper and Jemima Capenter's children are: Emma Jane Carpenter Hooper, b. 1864; Temperance Ann Hooper, b. 1866; William Henry Hooper and Laura Frances Hooper (twins) b. 1868 and Sidney Robert Hooper, b. 1871.

Key Family - St Blazey/Biscovay

My Key family ancestors Joseph and Sally Key (nee Brokenshire) lived in the St Blazey area in the late 1820's. Joseph was a blacksmith. Three of their children John, Caroline and James Brokensha were born or baptised there between 1825 and 1831. Joseph's father, Nicholas died there in 1828. He was said to be a resident of Biscovay. The family later moved to St Just in Penwith in the 1830s where they stayed until the 1880's when my part of the family moved to Brotton, N.Yorks. I am happy to share more information with anyone who is interested.

Wm Tonkin m Elizabeth RUNDLE in 1840 on arrival in Sth Australia. His parents William & Elizabeth WELLINGTON emigrated to SA in 1847 along with there family Jane & John ROWE, Mary & William THOMAS, John, Joel, Absalom, Harriet, Elizabeth, Jabez, Samuel & Charles.
John ROWE's sister Ann Croggan ROWE and her husband William WALKOM also came to SA. As far as I can determine Elizabeth RUNDLE was the eldest daughter of John RUNDLE. Her mother was possibly also Elizabeth.

Am looking for any information aviable on the family of my grandmother. She was born feb 19,1881 at st.blazey gate. her mother was caroline hambly, her fathers last name was tibbett, know nothing else about him. She married william langsford who died in 1905. She had one son, possibly two who also died. the one boy that we know of for sure was burried at st. mary's parish church, biscovey. She came to Canada in 1905 where she met and married my grandfather thomas strubley harris.

I am searching for any information on the descendants and siblings, parents and ancestors of Sarah BROWN, who married a William FRENCH on 31 Aug 1730 at St. Breward, Cornwall, England. She would have been born about 1710. All of her six known children were baptized at St. Breward, Cornwall, England between 1731 and 1746. Of her daughters, Elizabeth md. David SIMONS; Mary md. Thomas BRENT; Anne md. William MATTHEW; and Sarah md. John SMITH. Of her sons, William II md. Ann REYNOLDS (they are my 4GGParents); and Henry md. Grace PASMORE. I have no information on any of William and Sarah's grandchildren except through William II.
