My ancestor, Harriet Goldsworthy b. 1819 Redruth, married Jonathan Jennings b. 1822 Gulval in 1847, they had one child, John b. 1848 Redruth. Jonathan Jennings died in 1848, Redruth. William Goldsworthy died 1848, Redruth is listed on the same record. They may be related through Harriet. Harriet Jennings nee Goldsworthy married Charles Lake (Leake, Legg) Redruth 1852. They are the parents of my great-grandmother, Amelia Lake b. 1858 St. Stephens, Cornwall, England. Any help appreicated.

Searching for any relatives of Philip Norman Sandow. He was born perhaps 1910-1920 in Redruth & later emigrated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is a large coal mining area. He married a Grace Story & lived in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He passed away sometime in the early 1950's due to a car accident. My two sons {his grandsons} live here in the Dallas metroplex.

I am looking for relatives of John Collins who was killed in WW1. A Sapper in the Royal Engineers, he was killed on 2nd July 1916, aged 24 (born 1892). Nicholas family 1800s - Redruth
I'm looking for my great grandfather's family. He was Edward Nicholas born 1873 and came out to New Zealand, we think in 1894. He disappeared in 1923 and we don't know a lot about him - think he may be an Edward P Nicholas, born in Helston but living in Redruth in 1891. Father also Edward may have been a draper in 1891 and apparently father had remarried (Minnie) guessing around 1880. We don't know first wife of Edward senior so can't verify our Edward via birth cert. Address of family in 1891 is in Phillack. Our Edward had brother Bill also came out to NZ, altho may have lived Australia. Any information on this family much appreciated.

Does anyone have information on the Matthews family of Redruth. My grand father was John Matthews born c 1865, he was a stone mason, married Edith Curtis and had 12 children. John was born c. 1808 to PETER TREZEDER & JULIAN NANCARROW (information on the birth & parentage of both these people would be greatly appreciated). Nanny Michell was born early 1800s in Gwennap but to whom? She & John Tresedder married in Gwennap April 1829 but she died 1839. John tragically drowned in a boating accident in Mylor Pool 1850.
