Joseph Blamey born about 1817, in Mevagissey married Elizabeth Stephens about 1841, in St. Austell. Elizabeth was born about 1817, in St. Blazey. One of their sons Richard, my gggrandfather, was born April 28, 1849, in St. Austell. Richard married Grace Thomas in St. Austell (date unknown) and they had a little girl, Theresa who was born June 30, 1866, (place of birth unknown). Richard, Grace and Theresa came to the United States in February of 1868. On April 25, 1869, Richard and Grace had a son William, who was born in New Jersey. Any information regarding the above mentioned people or their families would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any information.

Looking for anyone who knows of John West died 1877 and his wife Elizabeth died 1876. They are my 2xgreat grandparents and are buried in Millbrook Cemetary. After Elizabeth's death John was living at 8 West Street, Millbrook and I believe there is still a family member in Millbrook, a farmer. Any contact would be appreciated.

I have William Yeo, married to Jane Collins in West Dean,1805. They moved to Maker, near Millbrook and in 1810 my GGG Grandfather, John Yeo was born. He had a sister,Elizabeth 1808, and another called Jane 1811. In 1834 John married Constantia P,(maiden name is possible Moore)in East Stonehouse, they had three children: Emma Jane Yeo, 1840 William s Yeo, 1836 and my GG Grandmother, Constantia Elizabeth Yeo,1839. By 1865 Constantia E Yeo had moved to Islington and married Foster John Henry Grinyer Where they had 3 children;Constantia Melvina,Foster John Henry and my Great Grandmother Louisa in 1874. In 1895 Louisa married Matthew Whiting and my Grandfather Frederick William Whiting was born in 1915. We have managed to find out quite a bit but would love any help filling in the blanks! or to find and other connections or relatives.

Searching for anyone who can help me on William Bruce b 1822, Maker, Cornwall. Married Hannah. Had three children - Mary Ann b 1838 Maker, Elizabeth b 1849 Maker and William H b 1851 Millbrook. He and family travelled to Australia twice - Melbourne then Sydney, and stayed the second time, living in Glebe and Coogee. Prudence married Fred Schofield from Melbourne and settled in Coogee just after the second world war.

William Elliot-Seldon of Morwenstow - Morwenstow
William ELLIOTT alias SELDON married Mariah ELLIOTT in Morwentstow Cornwall in 1841. Their witnesses at the wedding were Thomas PROUSE and his wife Mary whose maiden name was ELLIOTT. The PROUSE couple were both from Hartland, Devon. The SELDEN couple (as they were later known) emigrated to Oxford Co., Ontario, Canada in 1847, probably on the same ship as the PROUSE family who sailed on the Arab in 1847. Their ship encountered a storm and had to put into Trinity Bay Newfoundland, Canada for repairs. While there Trinity Maria PROUSE was born. The PROUSE family also settled in Oxford Co., Ontario.

The address was: Market Square. Alfred Slocombe KNILL, son of Robert KNILL (1819?- ) and Eliza SLOCOMBE (1818?-1852), was born Q1 1844 in Barnstaple. GRO Ref: M1844 Barnstaple 10/21. Alfred was an Inland Revenue Excise Officer. He appeared in the census on 30 March 1851 in Barnstaple. The address was: Bear Street. Living with parents. Scholar. He and Sarah ASHTON had 7 following children. And so it goes onÂ… Anyone willing to share findings with me?
