Alexander, Heath, Lightbody, Rose
- Menheniot
Looking for info about descendants of the Revd Harvey George ALEXANDER and his wife Harriet Cecilia nee Sidney. They were married in Cornwall in 1881 -he was Curate of Menheniot where Harriet's father was Vicar-and he became Vicar of Stoke Rivers 1890 remaining until 1919. By 1926 he was apparently retired and living in Kensington. Harriet died in 1907. Children I know of are Edith b ?1882, Ethel S (?1884), Margaret C (?1885), Mary C(?1887),Catherine (?1888) and John H S (?1889). By1901 Ethel was shown as at school in Clewer, Berks and Margaret and Mary at Ditchingham, Norfolk, and John at King's College, Taunton. I have now discovered that Edith married Dr Arthur HEATH (MD) and they had a son Arthur Alexander Heath who was an electrical engineer and died in 1980: Margaret married Leonard LIGHTBODY (1914) and Mary married Christopher ROSE (1913). John appears to have had a daughter called Jean Helen Sidney Alexander who at one time was an officer in the WRAC. I'd be very interested in tracing any living descendants.
