Looking for infornmation on the parents of John Maddern born Penzance or Madron areas around 1800 who married Jane Lawrey on 17 Oct 1829 and also the parents of Jane Lawrey/Laurey. I am trying to connect him as the son of Thomas Maddern and Jane Ellis who married in 1799 at Madron. Has anyone information that would confirm this link ? John was recorded in the 1771 census of Madron as John MADRON 72 years old living with his unmarried daughter Jane and he had died before the 1881 census. I think he may have been several years younger than that given in the census but have not been able to check his age ,if given, in the 1851 and 1861 censuses
