The Road I was trying to find ran parallel to Frodsham Street, between Forgate Street and the Canal. There was a small link Road between Frodsham Street and the Road I am trying to remember. There was also a Pub in this Road about 2 or 3 hundred yards up the road from the Canal on the right hand side, again the name of the Pub would be appreciated.

Nagle and Crawforth in Chester - Chester
Having just discovered last month that a John Enoch NAGLE married my great great aunt Louisa CRAWFORTH. They married in 13th October 1875 in Kensington London. This information I have taken from their marriage certificate. The writing on it isn't fantastic and very hard to decipher. We've managed to make a bit of progress thanks to another researcher helping me to decipher the writing on the certificate. His profession could be a cartier. His father from what I can read is Patrick (Bartholomew) NAGLE. Again with help of other researchers we've managed to find out John was born in France very possibly Bouologne. We know both he and his father lived there. At some stage the family moved to Cheshire as seen on census again another researcher sent me this. I really apperciate how helpful people are. It does mean a lot If anyone has any further information on their children, descendants or is a descendant. I'd love to hear and get more information on this branch of the family. You may even know about branches of my family.

Please help need info on grandfather G MOSS - Chester
My father sadly lost his mother in January of this year. He has now found out something that has concerned him for many years, that his dad was not his birth father. It is now too late to ask his mother questions he wish he had done. In December 1943 my Nan was stationed in the ATS at Saighton Barracks, Chester, UK, she was 19 years old. My father has spoke to one of her friends whom she worked with in the Army and her name is Mari Marshall she was knicknamed Ongar. My nan's name was Tamar Garrard she came from Ongar, Essex and lived there all her life. We now know that she met a man called Mr G Moss during her time in Chester. Mr G Moss was either a Civilian or visitor to the camp and sounded like one of the beatles (accent). Mr G Moss was taken to court to pay child maintenance, which he did and never missed a payment. My father has a copy of the court hearing and how much it was back then too. There was no first name, date of birth or address to give us any clues. This is where the Trisha Goddard show on Channel five have got involved. They was intrigued with this story and asked my dad Jim and I if we would like to do an appeal on the show. A journalist has also been in contact and wants to publish the story too. Thankyou
