My gr gr grandmother Harriet Humphreys b 1830 Tarporley daughter of Samuel (watch and clockmaker) and Sarah (surname unknown.) Other children were John (died young) Mary Ann (1833 Tarporley) Sarah Emma (1835 Northwich). Sarah died (probably in childbirth) in 1855 and Samuel married Louisa Andrews in 1836, daughter Louisa (1840 Northwich). Harriet Humphreys married John Matthew Smith (Brewood Staffordshire). I have no marriage or death dates for Harriet. Would like to find any family connections for Harriet. The Humphrey family seemed to live in the Tarporley, Northwich,Frodsham, Norley, Delamere area

John Henry WILSON b. abt 1818 - Tilston
Looking for info re John Henry WILSON (occupation: Butcher) born CHESHIRE (exact village unknown). The nearest I can make out on the birth certificate of his son in 1858 is that he came from 'Tintrop near Cheshire England'(not much help). He came to Australia (Tasmania) before 1849 (not confirmed whether convict - have ruled out two other John WILSON convicts as born too early)or migrated and married convict Harriet WILLIAMS on 4 September 1849. By 1856 he moved his family to the goldfields of Victoria and by 1872 Harriet had remarried citing first husband had died in 1862. Have not found any record of his birth or death as yet. Lyn
