west family
- Stockport
Looking for descendants of Frederick West and Margaret Edwards. They married in Stockport in November 1891 and appear to have disappeared. Margaret was born in Lancashire and Frederick was born in Banffshire Scotland, his parents were William West and Harriet Maria Sammells. William was drowned in Elgin and Harriet brought the family to Heaton Norris and Stockport. Albert James (Fred's brother) married Christiana Wood in 1886. She died in 1896
and they were not living together according to the 1891 census. Family rumour has it that Albert went to the USA to join his brother Charles Henry and returned to England about 1912. Any info regarding these brothers or their families or descendents would be gratefully received. They are my father's uncles and the family has no present knowledge of them.
